Why is it i can idolize players from all eras in the Premier League but not todays greedy kunts?

I've been a football fan for years and i can idolize Ian Rush, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Robbie Fowler, Matt Le Tissier, Ian Wright, Dennis Bergkamp, and most of all Alan Shearer. but i can't idolize Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Joey Barton, John Terry, and most of all Cristiano Ronaldo i think the player i can respect more than anyone today is Lionel Messi?
