Is anyone upset that Jesse L. Martin is leaving Law and Order?

I'm so upset that Jesse Martin is leaving L&O tonight!! Besides Jerry Orbach (Det. Briscoe), he was my FAVORITE detective so far on the series!! I can't believe that not only is he peacing out, he's being turned into a criminal. Is anyone else going to miss him like I am, or am I just waaay too into this show?
