My period is lighter than usual ?please read?

I wouldn't think you are pregnant or going through menopause. When you are on birthcontrol for so long your periods can become lighter. At least that is what I have been told in the past. As long as you are still getting it every month and you do have red blood. Small blood clots can appear to be black but really aren't that is just lining in your cervix being exspelled. I wouldn't worry. But when was your last Pap maybe you should get one just to make sure nothing else is going on.
