Why are teenage girls so obsessed with Justin Bieber?

I just don't understand what the big deal about Justin Bieber is. I went to a concert this last summer that featured Flo Rida, Justin Bieber, and Sean Kingston. Justin Bieber wasn't very good yet there was thousands of teenage girls crying and screaming when he came out. Why are so many girls focused on him?
