Has anyone read The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult? PLEASE ANSWER!?

i am writing a paper on the Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult and we have to state what the moral lesson to the story is? anyone that has read it understand what the moral lesson is? i know the book is alot about betrayal of family and friends and the breaking of relationships but im not quite sure what the moral lesson is? PLEASE HELP :)
