Why are people SO heartless?

I know, its very upsetting for anyone who watches that show. I watch it all the time. Some people view dogs sometimes as livestock. They just deal with it differently than some of us. Its heartbreaking to watch. The more we support, and give money to the SPCA's then the more they can do to go out and find these poor animals who need help. Crying about it isn't going to help them, doing something will. People need to be educated on dog ownership. I tear up too when I watch it.
