If you with 1.19 g of n-butyl alcohol and end up with 1.49 g of n-butyl bromide, theoretical (g) and % yields?

you divide 1.19g by the weight of one mol of n-butyl alcohol (73g) and then times it by the molecular weght of n-butyl bromide (136g) and that is your theoretical yield. Then take the 1.19 and divide by the theoretical yield. You go to ASU huh? :)
